Well, I guess that’s his backup outfit….

The Westchester County Jail went into lockdown on Halloween night when a former inmate went out trick-or-treating in a prisoner’s jumpsuit and officials feared he might be an escapee. The former inmate, Oscar Aponte, 32, was with his daughter in Peekskill when a county corrections officer spotted the familiar jumpsuit, officials said. Peekskill police found Aponte, confiscated the genuine jumpsuit and let him go.

  • This is so sad. The inmate has served his time and is back in society, and has to get hassled when he’s out trick-or-treating with his daughter.

That said, did he have no better costume in his h0use???

    • First of all I didn\’t have a daughter at the time, I was with my son. He was dressed as a police officer so I was his prisoner. I knew of his costume before I was released so I thought it would be funny to wear the outfit.
As far as other articles for this story, I got the jumpsuit out in a black garbage bag not a clear one. At the time of my release I was not searched nor did they give you clear bags for your belongings. But since that incident they changed their policy of how inmates are released. Nor did I run from the officer who spotted me wearing the jumpsuit. She asked me where did I get it and I told her none of your business and kept on trick-or-treating with my SON, not daughter.
Its funny how the people and system who fuck up try to spin it back on you.
They gave me 45 days jail time for that fun time with my son. Thanks
